Privacy Policy – yt-hochladen

yt-hochladen is a private upload tool operated by the owner of the YouTube channel Afrobama (@afrobama_yt) for their own channels only. It uses YouTube API Services. By using it you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Data accessed

• OAuth tokens for the Google account that signs in (scopes youtube.upload and youtube.readonly).
• Channel ID, channel title and handle of the signed-in account's own channel, to select the target channel.
• Video files and metadata (title, description, tags, privacy status, publish time) that the owner chooses to upload.

How data is used, stored and shared

• Data is used only to upload the owner's videos to their own channel and to confirm the upload result.
• OAuth tokens and the channel list are stored only locally on the owner's computer in a file readable only by their user account. No server, database, analytics or third party is involved.
• No data is sold, shared with or disclosed to any third party, and no cookies or tracking are used.
• Data is kept until the owner deletes the local token files or revokes access.

Revoking access and deleting data

Access can be revoked at any time via Google security settings. Deleting the local token files removes all stored data. Requests can be made via the contact link below; stored data is deleted within 7 days.
